Vancouver offers prolific salmon fishing 365 days of the year. We offer year round fishing for:
- Coho – May to September
- Sockeye – July to September (when open–possibly in 2012!)
- Pinks – July to September (odd numbered years 2013, 2015…)
- Chum – Sept to November
- Chinook – all year round (best from April to October)
- Ling Cod – usu. June to October
- Rock Cod – all year round
- Halibut - when open (on term charters only)

THE SEASTAR
Welcome to the Seastar! Our 38 foot Uniflite is an all-weather sport fisher designed for your adventure. Whether your group would like to experience Vancouver Salmon Fishing, some crabbing and prawning, Scuba Diving, Sightseeing, Kayaking or a Harbour Cruises; this comfortable and luxuriously appointed yacht is for you!
She has a spacious bridge with a 360 degree view, a large cockpit, and expansive carpeted back deck, a luxurious salon, indoor and outdoor showers, a generous swim grid, and full kitchen facilites. The Seastar will let you see Vancouver and its surroundings the way they were meant to be seen – from the water in comfort and relaxation and excitement when fishing!
Let your imagination be your guide. In a half day salmon fishing charter you can experience the excitement of Vancouver BC Salmon Fishing. Or, if you choose, you can cruise up the protected waters of Indian Arm and leave the city behind.
On a full day charter you can customize your very own Gulf Island Get-Away, complete with BC salmon fishing, kayaking, nature walks and a wildlife tour all in one! On the way back to the dock, relax in our air-conditioned salon sipping on a few beverages and view your video of the day’s excitement, whether it was playing Chinook Salmon or watching marine wildlife. In any event, you’re in for a great time!
The Seastar has two private staterooms are available for term charters with an extra bunk in the salon to accommodate up to six people comfortably. Our popular two and three day Gulf Island Charter Getaways are a highlight of any visit to Vancouver, British Columbia. Call us for details!
Just minutes from Vancouver Harbour, you will start to see the scenery that B.C. is famous for. Each trip brings it’s own memorable moments – one time it may be a triple header on the fishing rods, another might be a moonlight paddle on the serene waters of an isolated bay. OUR EXTENDED FLEET
For smaller groups of 1 to 5 people, conside our fleet of 23.5 to 30 foot speedy Grady Whites. Our boats are moored on our docks at the Westin Bayshore Resort and Hotel. We also do Vancouver Salmon Fishing Charters from Granville Island Location. Our prestigious Grady Whites are powered by performance Yamaha and Mercury Outboards and are renowned for their exceptional seaworthiness and are an ideal fishing platform for our guests. All of our boats are fully equipped for salmon fishing in Vancouver area waters with Scotty High Performance Downriggers, GPS, fishfinders, VHF Radios, washroom amenities, all required safety equipment and top of the line salmon fishing gear.
Our professional captains know local Vancouver waters like the back of their hand, and are renowned for their awesome fishing skill and high catch rates.
